Puzzle-1
Eight boxes – L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, and S are kept in two different stacks - Stack 1
and Stack 2, but not necessarily in the same order. Stack 1 is to the west of
stack 2. Each stack has four shelves in such a way that the lowermost shelf is
numbered as one and the topmost shelf is numbered as four. Box L is kept two
shelves above box Q, where both are not kept on the same stack. Box P is kept
north of box L. The number of shelves above box P is the same as the number
of shelves below box N. Box O is kept northeast box S. Box R is kept above box
M but is kept below box P.
Puzzle 2
Seven boxes - A, B, C, D, E, F, and G are kept one above the other on a single
stack, but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost shelf is numbered
as one and the topmost shelf is numbered as seven. Only two boxes are kept
between G and C, where either of the boxes is kept on the lowermost shelf.
Only one box is kept between the boxes D and C. Both the boxes D and G are
kept on adjacent shelves. Box B is kept two boxes above box A. Box A is kept
above box G. The number of boxes kept above box E is the same as the number
of boxes kept below box F. Box E is kept above box A
Puzzle 3
Six persons - L, M, N, O, P and Q are sitting around a circular table such that all
of them are facing towards the centre, but not necessarily in the same order. N
sits second to the left of Q. Both Q and O are immediate neighbours. The
number of persons sitting between O and N is same as the number of persons
sitting between Q and P. M neither sits adjacent to P nor L.
Puzzle 4
Seven persons - A, B, C, D, E, F, and G are attending the exam on different days
of the same week starting from Sunday to Saturday, but not necessarily in the
same order. C attends the exam on one of the days after Wednesday. The
number of persons attending the exam before C is the same as the number of
persons attending the exam after A. Only two persons attend between A and G.
F attends two persons before E. B attends before D. B attends adjacent to
neither A nor E.
Puzzle 5
Eight persons - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are living in an eight storey building, but
not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor is numbered as one and
the topmost floor is numbered as eight. D lives on one of the floors below third
floor. Only two persons live between D and F. The number of persons living
above F is the same as the number of persons living below B. Only two persons
live between B and E, who does not live adjacent to D. C lives two floors above
H, who does not live on the lowermost floor. G lives above A.
Puzzle 6
Seven persons - L, M, N, O, P, Q and R live in a seven-storey building such that
the lowermost floor is numbered as one and the topmost floor is numbered as
seven, but not necessarily in the same order. O lives three floors above P. At
least one person lives below P. Q lives immediately above O. Only two persons
live between Q and R. The number of persons living between O and R is the
same as the number of persons living between P and L. L lives on one of the
floors below M but lives above N
Puzzle 7
Six persons- L, M, N, O, P, and Q order the food on different days of the week
starting from Monday to Saturday but not necessarily in the same order. Q
orders either Wednesday or Friday. Only two persons order between Q and N.
The number of persons orders before N is the same as the number of persons
orders after L. The number of persons orders between L and Q is the same as
the number of persons orders between O and M. O does not order adjacent to
P
Puzzle 8
Eight persons- A, B, C, D, E, F, H, and I are sitting around a circular table such
that all of them are facing towards the centre, but not necessarily in the same
order. I sits third to the left of E. One person sits between E and B. A sits second
to the right of C. Neither A nor C sits adjacent to B. The number of persons
sitting between C and E is the same as the number of persons sitting between E
and H. D sits second to the left of F.
Puzzle 9
Eight boxes - P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W are kept one above the other on a single
stack, but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost shelf is numbered as one and the topmost shelf is numbered as eight Only one box is kept
between P and W. Box S is kept immediately above box W. Box R is kept two
boxes above box V. Only two boxes are kept between W and V. Boxes R and W
are not kept adjacent to each other. Box U is kept immediately above box Q.
Box U is kept somewhere below box S.
Puzzle 10
Six boxes – A, B, C, D, E, and F are kept in two different stacks - Stack 1 and
Stack 2, but not necessarily in the same order. Stack 1 is to the west of stack 2.
Each stack has three shelves in such a way that the lowermost shelf is
numbered as one and the topmost shelf is numbered as three. Box E is kept
immediately above box B, where both are kept on the same stack. Only one
shelf is there between box A and box B. Box A is kept northwest of box F. The
number of shelves between A and F is the same as the number of shelves
between B and C.
